I have completed my 9 months of articleship and I want a transfer from my current firm as it is far away from my house. But my principal is not willing to give me transfer. What can I do?

If u dont have a valid reason, u cant take tranfer. Far away from house etc althese r not a valid reasons as per icai regulations.
But according to ICAI its without any restrictions in the 1st year.
Ya its there. .try to convince ur principal. No other options.
you can take transfer only after prior approval from icai and ur prinicipal.. so just request him, make him understand because if once u elapsed one year.. it would be tough for u to find a valid reason dear
