I have completed my articleship of 1 year & 1 month.I am doing articleship in mumbai.I am not happy with work of my firm .Can i take transfer. I am from rajasthan. Can i take transfer from my firm in a ground that i have to shift my home town because i have some finanacial problem over there.Please help me. I m unhappy with my work.What are the alternate options available for me .Please help me .I need ur advise.

Dear Pooja, taking transfer is not that easy in 2nd year as it is in 1st year of articleship. There are certain grounds on which you can take transfer which you can find on ICAI' s website. For example Medical grounds, marriage etc. Unless your case falls under those grounds, I am afraid taking transfer will be difficult. I really hope your application gets accepted. Good luck.
There is remote chance to get termination after 1 year however if you can get your termination form signed in back date and can post it to ICAI with requisite late fine.
This may not be legal way but many of students opt for this.Only problem is to make your principal sign your termination form in back date and get registered with new firm asap.
anticipate all possible reasons for which ur application will not be accepted and try to tackle such reasons..be sure of the outcome whichever way to select to get ur transfer done..this transfer situation can be tricky so apply accordingly coz at the end of it you dont wanna lose a year of articleship done.
FIRST U CAN TRY TO GET SIGNED YOUR FORM IN BACK DATE AND SEND IT TO ICAI WITH THE LATE FEE THAN U CAN TAKE TRANSFER EASILLY BUT IF U WANNA TO TAKE TRANSFER IN 2ND YEAR THAT REQUIOR A PERMISSION FROM ICAI WITH THE RESONE IF ICAI ACCEPT THAN ONLY U CAN TAKE. THE TRANSFER
