Trading in stock market by a ca articled assistant

I am doing my CA article ship training 2nd year. I want open a DEMAT a/c and start trading in stock market. But some of my friends told me that CA articleship students are not allowed to do stock trading, as it will leads to cancelation of articleship period completed till now. I don't know whether it is right or not. I am totally confused. Please somebody let me know the right thing.

CA article trainees can invest in stock markets but not trade. If you want to profitably trade in stock markets you need to devote a lot of time which is not possible during articleship.

My dad is an authorised person of Sharekhan and he has undergon formal training for investing in the stock markets. He can train you to generate good returns with low risk - i.e. completely hedged portfolio.He was unaffected by the 2008 crisis thanks to his indigenously developed hedging techniques

Also, you can open a demat account at his franchisee and he will guide you for personal investment, but don't get into trading while pursuing articleship.
