THINGS TO BE MENTIONED IN LETTER HHEAD OF A COMPANY ?
Dear Sanchit:
The company letterhead should comprehensively include:
The most important inclusion made by the new Companies Act, 2013 is mentioning of 21 digit CIN on letterhead.
Additionally,
1. The company name clearly indicating the liability i.e. "Pvt. Ltd." or "Ltd." If there was a change in the name of the company in the past 2 years, the old name must also be provided along with current name. (The period for which the old name needs to be mentioned is not specifically stated but one could interpret so from the language of the statute).
Eg: old name was XYZ Ltd. which was changed 1.5 years ago to ABC Ltd. Then your letterhead must show ABC Ltd. (erstwhile XYZ Ltd.)
2. Head office address and contact numbers, e-mail address and fax number.
3. Company logo. (optional)
4. For all corporate correspondences with government like ROC / Tribunal etc every director of the company who is signatory to the document must disclose their DIN along with their names and signatures.
Hope it helps.
