Tds refund process

Dear All,

Respected members we are in e-commerce trading means to say online bussiness where we have to deduct the tds from brokers(online marketplace like TV18 home shop, flipkart etc. Fourth qaurter of fy 2013-214 where the one of party flipkart take the nill or low tds certificate form their assesing officer not provided any information to us that why submitted the tds return nor they are telling us that they can't reimburse the tds amount because they got the LTDS or Nill Certificate now we have to get refund of tds submitted by us what should we do and how please mention in details. It will helpfull for us

Dear Mr. Amit,

Get the 197 Certificate from the Vendor and file the revised ETDS Return incorporating the Certificating Number. Generally the Certificate number will be like (Example: 0213QG759L). Verify the Certificate number on TRACES website with your Login ID and Password before filing revised returns.

For filing the revised returns you must download NSDL Conso File again from TRACES itself.

but after revising the return refund for access tds will be done by income tax department please tell it sir

Dear Mr. Amit,

Refund has to be claimed by Flipcart at the end of year based on his Business Income. Your responsibility is only file the revised ETDS returns with 197 Certificate number.
