Is it Right that due date for following is 31/03/2010 ?
TDS for all the payments made on which TDS is to be deducted by the end of Feb 2010 otherwise the expenses will be disallowed u/s. 40a(ia).
And also required to file the TDS Returns for the 3 Quarters ending June 2009, Sept 2009 and Dec 2009 before 31.03.2010. There is a penalty of Rs. 100 per day for delay in filing the TDS Returns.
The due dates for filing quarterly TDS returns, both electronic and paper are as under:

Regarding TDS return , Yes there is penalty of Rs. 100/day for default but don't think any such clause is there about 31.03.2010

yes, it is correct that, if U/s 40a(ia) for the month of Apr- Feb TDS is not dedcuted or deposited in Govt. A/c Upto 31/3/2010, that exp. will not be dedutable in the AY 2010-11.
But, if it is Deducted and Deposited in next year it will be Deductable exp. of next year.
