If one paid the TDS for the quarter and filed a return, after audit verification, found that the the amount of TDS paid is less that the actual, any provision how to rectify the above mistake.

you will pay the balance amount & filled revised return if your payment is last quarter then you will pass the journal on the closing day then you will pay with in two months from year end other wise deduction is not allowed on shortage payments
