Employer is responsible to deduct TDS upto the date the employee is working for him. i.e, upto the date of termination. Employer has nothing to do with employe's total projected income bcoz employer employee relation come to end as soon as employee leave his job.

Hi,
No need to work out the projected income and all. The old employer will deduct taxes till the last salary and settlement amount paid. Thereafter the New Employer will deduct taxes.
