	Dear Sir, Please tell me I engage a building on rent 9 month rent rs.168000/- for year 2012-13. TDS rent limit is 180,000/- please tell me how much TDS deduct on rent please breif in details. regards, vinod

	you dont need to deduct any TDS as amount is within the limits Total thanks : 3 times

	Ya there is no need to deduct TDS on rent as the amount is whithin threshhold limit

	NO NEED TO DEDUCT TDS IN CASE THE AMOUNT PAID / CREDITED IS LESS THAN RS.180000/- DURING THE YEAR.

	TDS ON RENT NEEDS TO BE DEDUCTED ONLY IF RENT DURING THE YEAR EXCEEDS RS 1,80,000. AS UR RENT IS BELOW THIS LIMIT , U DONT NEED TO DEDUCT TDS. :)

	YES AGREE WITH ALL ABOVE... YOU ARE BELOW THE LIMIT ..NO NEED TO DEDUCT TDS.
