I am working in a Corporate taking many Insurance policies for welfare of employees as well as for other purposes. I would like to know whether I should deduct TDS while paying Insurance premium to Public / Private sector Insurance companies.
eg. Mediclaim policy premium to Oriental India is Rs.30 L
NO U HAVE NOT TO DEDUCT TDS ON PREMIUM AMOUNT.
