We know under Mega Exemption Notification No.25/2012 ST,Catering Service provided to an educational institution is exempted from service tax.But under Income tax Act,whether an educational institution will deduct TDS while making reimbursment of guest faculty or delegates food bill to catering service provider if it is exceed the prescribe limit under section 194C?

first of all see educational institution is proprietorship or partnership or ltd company .if it is trust ,tds has to deduct. in case proprietorship or huf case tds has to be deducted only previous year tax audit has been done
