23 January 2014I have received around 6-7 intimations regarding interest on late filing / late payment / penalty and other charges for previous FY & quarters. I have paid the respective amount. Now how do I close this notices. DO I have to file revised return for respective FY/ Quartes or will these payment gets automatically adjusted against the demand raised. ?

even i also got the same notice....i called the traces customer care they said to mail the entire notice and also the corresponding documents relating to the query.....but sending them was waste of time...tommrow i will be movin to income tax dept. and will try to find the way out...in ur case i would suggest u to take the notice and the relevant document to the dept. and get ur query solved becoz i think no other person can solve it better than the dept itself and also asked to many CA and my frnds but all remain blank.....
