11 November 2009We are paying salary to Directors from two different companies. While calucating TDS from salary, shall we consider 1.60 Lakh deduction from both company, or calulate TDS from above Rs.1.60 Lakhs from one company and T DS to be calculated from total salary in another company.(From Rs.1)

u should consider exemption limit of rs1.6l only once..and deduct tds on total income of the directors from both the companies
