Tds default and demand

Dear Expert,

Few of my client has received a demand notice for interest and penalty for late filing of TDS for the year 2009-10,2010-11. We could not able to trace the papers for respective years of TDS filing including ackowledgement but now we want to pay and settle the issue. In absence of papers conso file cant be downloaded and we are unable to file the revised return. So what to do in order to settle the outstanding demand.

Pls help

I think u can write to NSDL to obtain duplicate receipts, hope u might get them.

I have a default of Q3 FY 2013-14 for Rs.7000.00 for Short payment of one challan as per TDS CPC, but actually what happen is that by mistake one challan of Rs.50000.00 is splitted in to two challans of Rs. 7000.00 (Matched) and 43000.00 ( Overbooked & Matched) and the deeductee detail of Rs.50000.00 is placed in the challan of Rs.43000.00, and the challan of Rs. 7000.00 has no deeductee. So there is a challan where ovrbooked amount is showing 7000.00 and also stating that Available amount is showing Rs.7000.00 (Scrrenshot of the same is attached below), And I have tried to file the correction return twice but both of the time they reject it as they are not allowing me to update matched challan details,

So what should I do now, how can I correct it ?
