Tds correction

sir,

I have one query for tds return. If you help me in this regard, I will be thankful.

I have filed tds regular statement. for q2-26q. In which i have written wrong date and received demand notice. I have corrected the statement after downloading conso file.(in which two challans are shown as mismatched. I m mentioning no error of data for that challan. so I corrected 1 challan and filed revised return.

Now i have again received demand for that challan (amounting 3400 ) The challan is shown on traces as overbooked.

I am enclosing some files. Plz take a look.

The attachment is about short payment, In that case you have to deposit Rs. 3400/- as under relevent sec. code by selcting minor challan head as 400.

Similarly you have to add new row for which short deduction has been made by selecting "Y" in 2nd last colum in annx.

Then while filing correction return you have not selected "Y" in 2nd last colum in Annx. in new row.

You have to again revised your return and raise threshold flag ('Y') in column no. 326 (24Q), column no. 424 (26Q), column no. 729 (27Q) and column no. 680 (27EQ) for 'Reason for no / lower deduction'.
