Dear Sir,
Can any one tell me when ESIC is deducted from employee salary, under which section we can claim the same as deduction while calculating tds on salary.

For ESIC there is no deduction in Income tax in my knowledge ,only PF and Professional Tax is eligible for deduction.

As per my knowledge you can't claim the dedcution on ESI,deduction avail only in:-

Employee's contribution of 1.75% towards ESI cannot be availed as a deduction u/s 80 C. And moreover ESI is applicable only if the employee's Gross salary is <=15000 pm.. So,If the employee's gross salary is <=15000 then he would not liable to pay income tax.
