TAXABILITY OF SHARES ALLOTTED TO EMPLOYEES BY COMPANIES

certain companies allocates shares to employees as part of salary after completion of one or two yrs of service. while share are being vested they deduct tax also for the same. so my doubt is that while they sell those shares do they have to pay cg for those shares.
