Tax treatment
What will be the tax treatment if high court pass order for payment of termination benefit and dn company filed cross appeal and asked for stay. HC asked to deposit said amount. Nw what will be liabilities of company

Whether co deposit net amount with HC I.e. after deduction of tds
I think deposit is in a form of guarantee. Therefore TDS not to be deducted. Company can create a deposit with HC under liabilities head.
