Hello

I ger the message like defective return in the itr file as below.

The tax payer should pay the balance tax liability and furnish 1 38 Tax liability is shown as payable in the return of income . complete details in the corrected X M L. Kindly ensure that XML. there is no tax payable at the time of uploading.

How to resolve this query of IT and close the ITR For AY 2016-17.

Please mention step by step answer and how to pay the tax online.
