How do we go about the registration of the TAN numbers on the NSDL site of an assessee who is a NEW assessee and will be beginning to deduct taxes on the payments being currently made? TAN number has recently been taken. Would it have been registered at that time or are we to make a seperate registration again on the NSDL site again?
no need to register if you are deducting tds. You have to register when you are going to e-filing your tds return.
