Suggestions needed!!

hii friends...im planning to give my 2nd group of ca final in november...i have joined classes for costing but not for tax...i wanted to know whether self study is possible for direct tax?what should i do...are satellite classes good enuf or can anyone suggest me which professors dvds i can get for DT and from where...thankk you in advance

Dear frnd, its best that u hv planned smthing in s good way.

Costing, ISCA, DT and IDT.... these are the subjects u hv to study.

Costing classes its ok, but u require some more practice from reference books like Parag Gupta

ISCA is a biggest demon here, u can refere Manish Valecha, Dinesh Madan, or Amit Tated

DT u CAN DO IT.............Taxes are manageable..... best is Vinod Gupta.. he has satellite classes also his books are available, no need to lose hopes...u can manage it

IDT is most easy and scoring.... only one book BANGAR..

DT you can manage by self study Refer T N Manoharan Book & Institute Case law book issued for last 3 attempts, ICAI Practice manuals &  RTP

For IDT Refer Text Book of V S Datey only along with ICAI Case laws for last 3 attempts, Prac Manuals & RTP & no other book

For ISCA get the Book of R Chandrashekar  snow white publications, I know many few students are aware of this author & book but it is the best book for self study. Go to book store check it  for few minutes

Costing & OR ICAI PM, RTPs & Past 10 attempts question papers & You get 60 marks. & if you want to refer a Text Book then Refer Saxena & Vashist
