IMHO taking one group at a time is not a way to go about the exams. I think one should prepare for both groups. We have plenty of time to prepare for them provided we manage the time properly.

You have a whole year to prepare for the exams so why are you thinking about preparing for one group only?

Go for both groups.

Always remember that to pass CA Exams you need a bit of luck as well, along with plenty of hard work. You never know what kind of paper you might get in the exams. It may happen that you plan to skip the 2nd group and the papers of that group come easy and you are kept regretting as to "What if I would have given this also".

It's better to try and fail, then not to try at all.

Ya you have sufficient time to take up both the groups..

ALways remember you have better chances of clearing your exams when you attempt both the groups bcoz one group's shortage can be fulfilled by the other group's marks.

Thank  you Mr Amit & praveen for valuable suggestion as i hav cleared my PE-II in my third attempt  which redudce by confidence level & i was also guided by many of my friends & collegues so was bit confused, what to do regarding the exams.  I accept  your suggestions . Thank you.
