Dear Friends,

Action point to get exemption in CA Final – Audit.

1.First of all read article “How to prepare for theory subject” & Study plan for Audit.  (From, where you will get, I let you know later……)

2.Cover 100 % syllabus as per module

3.Cover latest amendments

4.Cover all question as per Scanner

5.Cover questions as per practice manual.

6.Separate material for value addition marks. (10-20 Marks)

  • List of All SA
  • List of all clause – Professional ethics
  • List of section as per Co. Act. 2013
  • All format as per SA (Audit Report, Engagement Letter etc) total 30 + format in different situations.
  • Short Notes for Quick Revisions/Last minutes revisions.

7.Cover point 2-5 in in 100-120 Hours equal to 10 days. (Is it possible to cover – 1000+  pages Institute module , 600+ Pages of Scannr + 700+ Pages Institute practice Manual) . Yes, it is possible, how to do that, I will let you know later…. . While reading above 2-5 points, marks 1-2 case study for every chapter, 9-10 case study from big chapter (Co. Act, Ethics, SA) for revision purpose for next round.

8.After reading that, take a break for a week, (Study another subject)

9.After that, revise whole syllabus (Point No. 6), in just 3 days. – How it is possible (1000+600+700 pages) in just 3 days. (Yes It is possible, I will let you know later……). Before start revision, again read 2 page article – How to prepare for theory subject). During revision you, will find that few of topic/points from each chapter, you are not able to recall, where question has been asked in previous exams. Mark that point/topic to revise again in next round or exam days. Same way, you will find that few topic/points, although you have revised, but you no need to revised again, because you have strong hold on these points or these are so easy, that no need to revised again you can recall these topic/points just after seeing heading of that points.  Mark that point/topic to exclude from revision or exam days revisions. Use separate sign/color to mark these points. It will save your time & you can focus on that points, which are not easy to recall.

10.Now keep, five page (Point No. 6 - List of SA, List of Clause- ethics, List of Section as per Co. Act, 2013) every time with you. You can read these five page in just 20 minutes.  Read these five pages every day if possible (for 15 days) or alternate days. You can read these 5 pages just before sleeping. This revision will helps you to secure addition 5-10 marks.

11.Now you will be in a position to revise whole syllabus in just 2 days. – How it is possible. I will let you know later…….

12.Now take a break of 15 days & revise again whole syllabus in just 2 days.

13.Now you have spent total   17 Days, (10+3+2) & revise whole syllabus three times.

14.Now, I have described strategiy to secure maximum marks in minimum time. But Is it practically possible. ……………………………..Kehna  easy  hai, but practically karna muskil hai…. . Now to make it easy, we need to have a material which, solved our purpose to read 2300+ pages in 100-120 hours i.e. 20 pages /per hour to cover 100% syllabus (Not 80-90%), Practice Manual, Latest amendment & full scanneer.  Not possible, we are not computer. Dear Friends, have you notices, that almost 50 % of text of practice manual, scanner, module have duplicity of text. Same text you will find in module & same text you will find in scanner/practice manual. We have to read same text multiple time, which no need to read again & again, & cannot revise imp. Text more than one time. Now we need to see, which book can solve this purpose.  For this we need to analyse the book available in the market.

15.Analysis of Books:

  • S.Bansal:  Good book but does not cover 100 % syllabus if comparing with Institute module. Does not cover all question as per scanneer. Does not cover practice manual. Ultimately can’t depend only on S.Bansal Book. Need to refer practice manual & scanner separately. Still doubt, whether cover 100 % syllabus.
  • P. Garg:  Good book but does not cover 100 % syllabus if comparing with Institute module. More question if comparing with S.Bansal, but still does not cover all questions as per scanneer. Does not cover practice manual. Ultimately can’t depend only on P. Garg Book. Need to refer practice manual & scanner separately. Still doubt, whether cover 100 % syllabus. Big issue, while reading scanner/PM, identify the questions which have not been covered by S.Bansal or P.Garg.
  • V. Aggarwal: Moreover same as S.Bansal, but not in tabular form.
  • Paluka: Good book, but tooooooooo lengthy (800 pages), not as per institute module pattern, duplicacy of text/questions, too much table/text, duplicity of text. Ultimately after reading 10-15 pages, get confused/getting bored.
  • Sumit Aggarwal: Wonderful Book. Total pages 607. Out of 83 pages, Short Notes. Initial Pages. 18 pages. Net Relevant text for covering point 2-5 is 507 pages. 100 % syllabus, as per Institute Module. Compare any chapter with any book & Module, you will find it is true. Having all question as per scannr & practice manual. Compare with scannr & PM, you will find it is true. Calibri font is used, which is very light for our eyes i.e.  less stress on our eyes, while reading. Acid free (cream shade) paper is used which is very light for our eyes i.e.  less stress on our eyes, while reading. How it is possible that everything as defined in point 2-5 is covered in just 507 pages. Yes because when you comparing any chapter with any book, scanner, PM, you will find most of the text is duplicate, which have been removed in this book. Ultimately, you will read, what you want to read,  & you will not read, duplicity of text. “It will not happened, that OH……yeh to pehle pad liye or same question PM me pad liya……). If still not believe, go to book shop or buy online on flipkart.com or amazon.in  & compare it. If everything mentioned above is false. Return the book as there is 30 days replacement guarantee on amazon or flipkart.com.  This is not marketing. This is only to make known students about the arrival of this book  for the benefit of CA Students. Ultimately it will affect 6 month of your career life. 500 pages you can easily ready in 100-120 hours, with full confidence, that you have cover everything. This book also covers Study Plan & article on how to prepare for theory subject.

16.Now based on above analysis, you have to choose the book to cover point 2-5.

17.Now come to Point No. 6. Now again you have to analyse, which book will cover all points given in point No. 6 at one place. As mentioned above,  Sumit Aggarwal book cover all points as given in point No. 6 including short notes for quick revisions.

18.One Important point to note that, even if we  have good hold on Audit, If we don’t have goods notes to revise whole syllabus in one day before exam days, we could not secure maximum marks. These short Notes & matter given in point no.6  will help us to secure additional 10-20 marks as compare to our routine preparation.

We believe that, if student follow above pattern, then they will definitely secure maximum marks in minimum time frame.

If after following above pattern, a mango man, who have 30 marks in Audit Subject in B.Com & aggregate 51 % in B.com, can pass CA  in 3.5 years &  pass CA final both group in preparation of just 8 month, then why not you can……

For Smart qualification we need smart study……

Best of luck for upcoming CA Exams.

Disclaimer: Please note, that we are not promoting any specific book. At final level, student can own decide which book is best book (based on content etc), which will help them to follow above strategy.
