Suppose A has Purchased some material from B ( registered dealer)for construction of building but B has not charged Vat separately in invoice now its A's liability or B's liability to pay Vat

A cant be held liable..if B has not charged vat for whatever reasons then A cant pay vat on his own.

it will be considered as inclusive of vat... just because its not charged doesn't mean its not liable for vat

B will be held liable for VAT

we have to deduct the wct. it is similar to tds and same will be deposited with state govt. general rat is around 4 to 6% depending upon whether contractor is registered or not under respective state vat state act
