Hi friends, few days ago I got a msg from Carockers that SFM video lectures & textbook published by Taxmann of J.B.Gupta Sir has been released for1650

Do anyone knows who is J.B.Gupta sir & how he teaches ??

Will it be fruitful for me to purchase it??

J B Gupta is one of the most renowned faculty in delhi .... many of the prominent teachers in the market today like parveen sharma sir ajay jain sir ashish kalra sir and many more had been his student.

his books are best sellers at university level for his subject.

he is not that popular in the coaching of ca students just due to the lack of marketing strategies by him

otherwise his students always praise himself for his efforts and knowledge put in them by great JB Gupta sir.

and Taxmann .. such a big publication .. do not publish books of people who do not deserve to be called best in their subject.

He has always tried his level best to do best for students .. he is first one to make available all his notes online with solutions which can be freely downloaded by anyone .. even he has shared his email id for free query resolvance.

Fed up with the increasing fees of teachers in delhi .... something was like this could be done by him only ... mere in 1650 .. he has launched his whole coaching classes in 4 or 6 dvds with a book with solutions.

Hats off to you sir,,,

work hard .... self study is the best for this subject ... there is one other option for this subject called as rajesh makkar's notes .... but if you going to take dvds of jb gupta sir .... nothing would be better than it ..

I bought those DVDS but it says After 2 Years this DVD will not Work and it can be played only on the machine on which it is First Installed

can anyone highlight on this

Does it mean the DVDS are sold as 2Years Trial Pack since i am also the one who was behind him in pushing forward for getting that Video DVDS of his lecture be relased for Students Community at Large

2 years is a lot of time..............its on contrary quite generous of them to give 2yrs license.......they could have easily made it for 1 or attempts etc......

most people should pass in 2yrs......

I HAVE CLEARED MY IPCC IN MAY 2011 AND MY FINAL ATTEMPT WILL BE IN NOV 2013. THEN THIS TWO YEARS PERIOD IS NOT GOOD FOR ME. IT WILL EXPIRE BEFORE MY ATTEMPT. wHEN SHOULD I BUY THIS DVD.
