Service tax revised invoice

Dear All

I want to ask one question related to service tax revised Invoice.

I have issued one invoice related to service to my party in november 2015. it was tax free invoice. but now party is asking for service tax Invoice.

Can I issue revised bill with service tax now?

and what should i do to my old invoice shall i cancell it or not

FRANKly , its not advisable to revise the bill.
But if needfull

then

1. Revise invoice

2. Pay ST with interest

3. Revise ST return

Can I issue a invoice with current date. for old invoice i take payment as cash or issue credit note because that invoice is tax free.

If it is acceptable to customer, then raise CN and invoice in current FY and File accordingly the ST return for current period.
