I am registered in transport of goods by road, i pay the freight in sale of goods and purchase of goods and deposit the service tax. i want to know about that i fall in service provider or service receiver in st3. if i mention outward freight in service provider there is any thing wrong or penal by service tax department.....?

Dear Sir,

In this regard you are fall under RCM i.e. Goods Transport Servicve by Road. And you have to pay the service tax on Freight Inward and Freight Outward and after payment of dutyies amount to be take the CEnvat Credit Benefit under this RCM.

Thanks for reply Sir, i want to know in st3 return there is a option shown you are service provider or receiver generally i want to know i paid the service tax in outward and inward freight agst purchase and sale of iron goods in trading firm.
