I need to know if an operating lease (furniture rental) will attract Service Tax or Sales Tax.

Operating lease attracts service tax.
There was a recent circular , clarifying operating lease and sales tax. it said that when 'right to use' is transferred exclusively to the lessor...it will attract sales tax
