Service tax on vat
we have contract for construct a building with vat composition scheme in haryana. My question is we have claim service tax on rotal work done amt or excluding amt. pls advice me thanks Gopal Goyal

Under works contract - you need to pay service tax to contractor if regd under ST @ 6% [ 40% of 15%] for building construction.
