we received AMC bill for Gensets with ST @ 12.36%. Is it payble to service provider, is there any reverse machanisim and can get cenvat. Pls advise.

Sir,
The service provider does pay the whole service tax amount @ Rate 12.36 then you liabilities is not to be created on such services. In other case you are eligible pay Service Tax under RMC then you have to pay service tax and to be taken cenvat credit same amount which is paid by you.
