We have incurred an amount of 100000/- towards soil investigation for lime stone & coal shed.Whether can we avail the service tax credit which is charged in the invoice.Please let me know...

Without details of your activities, answer can not be given as Cenvat CRedit can be availed when input service is used for dutiable manufacture or taxable output service only as covered in definition of "input service" at Rule 2(l) of Cenvat Credit Rules'2004 and attract various aspect in different Rules of the said Rules.
