I am new to this area of Service Tax and therefore finding it difficult to understand and proceed further on this on my official duties. I would like to have the learned members view on this. 1. What is CENVAT? 2. Whether we can adjust our payment of serivce tax against that or how? Ours is not a manfucacturing sector and only Govt. sector.
