The Institute of Cost Accountants of India organizes Seminar on “Companies Bill 2012: Role of CMAs" Friday, February 1, 2013 at 4th Floor, CMA Bhawan, 3, Institutional Area, Lodhi Road, New Delhi. Timings: 10 am to 2pm followed by Lunch. (Reporting time at 9:30 a.m.)

Objectives: The Companies Bill 2012 has been passed by the Lok Sabha in December ‘2012 and it is expected that the Rajya Sabha will pass the Bill in the Budget session of 2013. The Government is engaged in framing the rules to be promulgated after Rajya Sabha passes the Bill. The Companies Bill 2012 recognizes the role of CMAs in various professional functions in addition to the traditional areras of Cost accountancy and other certifications. This programme discusses the opportunities in general and specific areas where Management Accountants can contribute very significantly because of the body of knowledge developed by our Institute.
