Dear Sir/Madam/Students,
One of the Client has been paid Self Assessment Tax but forget to mention in ITR-1 and Same has been processed by income tax department.
ITD also not Considered and raised Demand.
What Can I do to resolve this issue?
1. Only give Response from IT portal
or
2. Can I File Updated return? because ITR already Processed.

Self assessment tax will automatically get auto populated.
For which AY ?
If it is for AY-2023-24 then you may revise the ITR and add the self assessment tax details
If it is for AY-2023-24 then you may revise the ITR and add the self assessment tax details
AY 2022-23
Updated return can't be filed since it reduces the tax liability.
You may go for rectification return or you can submit response to outstanding demand by uploading challan details

I responded remarks with "Demand Paid and Challan has CIN(With open Challan Details)" under Demand is incorrect option.
But it may not resolve due to technical aspect
When I select this remarks Challan Details automatically fetched and just click on check ✅ and submitted.
