Guys plz Help me....

I am an Article Assistant and now I have been seconded to another CA Firm to continue my Articleship.

Things that I am worried about is:-

What are the procedures of Secondment that I will have to fulfill ? I don't find any Forms for this on the Institute Website..!!

Now that I have been seconded, who will be considered as my Principal ?? Is it the one under whom I have been serving or is it the new one to whose Firm I have been seconded to ?? Who is supposed to pay me the Stipend ??

After completion of my Articleship, if there is going to be any extension of Articleship Period because of excess leave taken, then under whom should I have to serve this Extended period of Articleship ??

Plz help me with this...

dude ,

here is d secondment procedure.

u hv to a secondment form (u will find it in the institute's site) n fill it in triplicate. Get it signed by both the CA's and submit it to icai within 30 days.

the secondment period cannot exceed 1 year and min period is 4 mths.

Stipend will be paid by original principal. If you have taken excess leave than you may serve that period to anyone. Form as specified above have to be filled in triplicate which is available at institute site in forms section and also at completion the CA to whom you are seconded will send a form filled up by him to you and your principal regarding your attendance. No need to worry its just a procedure to be followed. But do it on time.

To correct: Stipend will be paid by respective CA with whom u r working.

Dont U think Min Time is 9M instead of 4m........

is secondment of articleship considered as transfer ? if so does the principal changes to the one whome we are seconded ?

Hi Guys i have Completed my 2years of articleship and i have left with more 1.5years

I want to take the secondment of the articalship, but problem is that secondment is valid for 1 year.

I dont want to go back to the my older Firm after completing my one year of secondment.

is any other option Avalable?

Please Help me guys.

Minimum period for seconsment is 4m and maximum is 1 year.

I HAVE TAKEN TRANSFER FROM A FIRM TO B FIRM AS PER ICAI RULES.

SO I HAVE ALOS REGITERD UNDER B FIRM

BUT IN B FIRM THERE IS NO INTERNAL & STATUTORY AUDIT.. SO PRESENTLY I M WORKING ITH C FIRM..

IT WILL BE TRETAED AS THE SECONDMENT ARTICLESHIP

Hi guys i have taken an secondment for 6month but i have to extend it for another 3month ll it be possible??

Or plz advice me is there any procedure or form we have to submit to ICAI after completion of secondment of articleship??

Hey i have completed my 14 months of articlship.. i want secondment for about 1 year then i will continue to serve my original firm but i want these types of firms in mumbai and i am left with my ipc grp 2 so u have any idea about firms taking grp 1 students as secondmend
