A salaried assessee filed the return for AY 2019-20 where we claimed relief u/s 89 for arrears but he couldn't fill and submit the form 10E . His ITR has been processed by IT dept and processed with demand ignoring relief since he couldn't fill and file 10E.
What remedies this assessee have to overcome this situation???

First you file (upload) immediately Form 10E .
Thereafter file revised ITR. (revised ITR you can file upto 31-3-2020.
Mostly...... it will be considered for section 89 Relief.
