for direct tax vinod gupta modules are the best.......self explanatory and simple language

Thanks. But some of my friends have suggested that VG Sir's book is very lengthy and time consuming....I know its CA-Final.....but still...

thats true it is indeed very lenghy......8modules wth average 200pages each.........
but the language is very easy and self explanatory........if you start frm now.....seriously thn you can very well hold a grip over this paper by nov '12

yes notes on direct tax by girish ahuja is very nice and easy to understand, as myself studied those notes in my finals...
