I had got a notice for defective return under section 139(9), after which, I filled an X M L and uploaded it in the "efile in response to notice u/s 139(9)" part of the income tax website. I got the success message, and this all I did about a month back. Now I got a message from CPC that I still need to send documents. Could anyone help me out on what documents I need to send?
I had only uploaded the X M L, and nothing else. In my returns, I can see the ITR for the revised return. Please let me know what I should do next.
