QUERY IN FILLING FORM NO.23B:-

AUDITOR HAS BEEN APPOINTED THROUGH AGM AND THE DATE OF AGM IS 30.09.2011 (FOR YEAR ENDED 31.03.2011)

DATE OF RECEIPT OF INTIMATION OF APPOINTMENT : 01/10/2011

AND THE APPOINTMENT IS ALSO ACCEPTED

01) NOW FOR THE PERIOD OF ACCOUNTS FOR WHICH APPOINTED IS TO BE MENTIONED

AS 01-04-2010 TO 31-03-2011

OR 01-04-2011 TO 31-03-2012

AS PER MY VIEW :- THE SRN OF ABOVE FORM 23B IS REQUIRED TO BE MENTIONED IN FORM 23AC FOR FILING OF BALANCE SHEET FOR THAT YEAR, HENCE PERIOD SHOULD BE MENTIONED AS 01-04-2010 to 31-03-2011.

PLEASE CORRECT ME IF I AM WRONG.

In AGM held on 30.09.2011, you have appointed Statutory Auditor to hold the office from the conclusion of this AGM till the conclusion of next AGM.  i.e for the FY 2011-12. Hence, period should be 01/04/2011 to 31/03/2012.

SRN of Form 23B  for the period 01/04/2011 to 31/03/2012 need to be quoted for filing 23AC for the year 31.03.2012

You have appointed him for the financial year 2011-2012

In form 23B u will quote the SRN of form 23B filed for thr 2010-2011
