Register a proprietorship firm
Hello,
I am already a partner in a partnership firm, now I want to register a new proprietorship of firm. Please suggest can I do so? Also what are the consequences regarding status of the firm and me?

- A partner of a firm can be a proprietor of another concern.
- You may need to obtain VAT registration certificate (and other required statutory registrations) in respect of proprietorship concern
- Your PAN (in individual status) can be used for transacting business
- A separate bank account (in the trade name) may be opened for ease of operations
