Can anyone help me with the professiona tax issue. As i am working for 2 company part time basis on salary roll. Both company deducting my Profession Tax. so for the full year i m paying 5000 as PT instead of 2500. So is that correct?

firstly limit for professional tax is 2500 per state , so if both companies are in same state then it is common limit for them.
Also you can claim deduction of professional tax paid from salary received while filling return.
