Regarding itr

DEAR SIR, 1) I have home tuition income 1.5 lac approx. 2) I have FD interest 17000/- 3) I also have 6000/- bank saving interest (4%) which ITR should i file for the above mentioned incomes? and will all these incomes be considered as income from other sources?

File ITR 1 Sahaj; Yes IFOS.

Hi,

Home tution income will be under the head of Income from business and Profession, Interest on FD & Saving will be under the head of Income from other sources.

And you have to file ITR-4.

ITR 1 you can file..you can fill turion income in other source of income....need not file ITR 4.....

when its above 1.5 lacs per annum go for professional income and pay profession tax enrollment tax, maintain minimum books of accounts

when its below 1.5 lacs, it may be professional income or income from other sources
