My point is just that we have never seen this happening earlier when so many times there were attacks in trains and buses. Why is this unity shown only when it is an attack on Taj and Oberoi, why not earlier??? If indeed the people would have been united, trust me, we would have never had hindu-muslim riots, we would have never had people fighting for reservations, we would never had people fighting on the basis of caste/religion/origin etc. Further, we would also have had protests even for people who loose lives in terror and bomb attacks that happen in trains and buses where common man gets killed.
This unity which you guys are talking about is just a show and nothing else as it is rightly said by both of you.
These people came with candles and hoardings and they left it there....BMC people had to waste their valuable time and resources in cleaning the area.
It will indeed by nice to see these candleholders getting united with common man and thinking about them. It will be nice to see them find sometime from their busy schedule of attending parties and go for voting. It will be brilliant if these guys do something for some important issues like inflation, pollution etc.
If these candleholders would have donated blood, I am sure a lot many lives could be saved in the hospitals. A lot of people in the hospitals have died because of non-availability of blood. All those crooks who wanted to know where MNS people are....Please note that they were donating blood. And Mr. Raj was at the site and he was greeting the police and commandos on completing the operations. All these pics are available on the internet for your reference.
These candle protests are complete non-sense, and it is a way to get publicity in media and make the surroundings dirty. I dont see any reason why anything needs to be shown. We have always been showing something we are not. I think its time to act.
