Hi I am new to accounting related works and not sure if I am posting my query in the correct category.

What will be the consequences if employer deducts PT from employee with out even registering for PT?
What will be the penalty if we pay the previously deducted PT once PT registration is done and also let me know the procedure to pay the previous months PT.

Please clarify me in this regard.

Pay the amount with interest. And pay late fees for late filing of return. For delay in registration , penalty may be levied.

1. No consequence 2. Interest for delayed payments @ 1.25% p.m, penalty for delayed registration Rs.5 per day of default.

Hi Raj, first of all thank you for responding.

Can we pay the total dues in a single span or need to pay individually for each month?

Company is registered before 2 years, but employees are eligible for PT deduction from last 8 months. So, will the penalty be livied for this 8 months or for the whole 2 years?
