refund to govt employees

our Client is working in navy

have a income of 350000(includingPY areers)

tds is 20000,

he want to refund it.

is govt staff can apply for a refund

how?

Income tax deparment have no diffrentiation between govt employee and other employee in matter of refund- Your client should file return and i.e. the conclusive procedure for claiming the refund but dont forget to see that when there is a refund positin why TDS has been deducted?- Look in to the matter or discuss the case in deep.
