We are an Engineering company. We export services to the extent of about 50% of our billing. We claim refund of CENVAT credit to the extent of export of services and we have recieved refund for 1 quarter of 14-15 as well. However, recently our claim for several quarters got rejected. Reason being cited as "The supporting doucments such as FIRC submitted alongwith the refund claims indicate that no payments have been recieved or to say '0' payments have been recieved during the relevant period"
Our export payments usually take 6-8 months to realise, however we are informed vide order that payments have to be realised within 3 months of raisng invoice to be eligible for refund of credit.
We would like to know the correct position please.
