for an individual how can we claim refund of tax nd for how many years we can claim refund. I have a tax refund of 2007-2008 previous year. can I claim it and how

Yes.. I hv filed my return
My wife got AY2007-08 refund on 11th sept 2015.
Her assesment was complete in 2009 and letter had come to give MICR code and Bank acc no which she went to ward office and did at that time in 2009.
She forgot about it and remembered while filing 2015-16. I went to ward office and found that her refund was stuck up in range Migration. I went to grahak seva kendra and submitted application for her refund of 2007-2008. Within two days the money was directly credited to her account.
Please give application to you jurisdiction AO with xerox copy of ITRV.

Yes, if you have duly filed your return claiming refund and your tds matches with your 26 as then you can easily get your refund. Just write an application to your AO with a copy of ITRV and your tds certificates.
