Really urgent query regarding transfer.

I am a student undergoing articleship in pune, however my parents are not from Pune. I joined pune when the transfer rule was not applicable. Now i wish to go back to my parents in Delhi and serve the rest of my articleship there.

Is this reason good enough to get a transfer?

How much time does it take to get the approval/rejection after sending the request letter & how are you informed?

What are the chances of my getting a transfer?

Please reply soon people, its really urgent and i m in a lot of problems.

It all depends with the institute, try writing them a letter yourself and asking if that's a valid reason. Response ETA would be 3-4 months.

Once u submit form 109 that is for transfer it takes around 1 month and not 3 to 4 months as said by sidd.

Also if u in ur first yr of articleship, u dont have to worry because according to new rule u can take transfers without any restriction ( that is any no. of times and anywhere)

If u r not in first yr of articleship training take a letter from ur Principal and send to institute and wait for their reply or just directly approach institute with the same. Offcourse letter should state that u r parents are in other city and u wish to relocate there. if Institute gives green signal then fill up Form 109 and then form 103 within 1 month
