Document For PAN ?

Hi Friends,

1. My friends want to have PAN Card for his wife but the problem is that she doesn't have any proof?

2. she can avail the following document for pan card ----

  A. Marriage Card [Card is available of 8 - 9 years old]

 B. School Leaving Certificate

 C. University Degree / Convocation from the university.

 D. Bank Pass Book.

One identity proof (Photo) and one Address proof is must, you may go through following link to verify a list of proofs required for filling PANApplication.

Mr.Sanjiv kumar shah, even if you dont have any appropriate proof to enclose for PAN, you can always get your PAN application certified by a gazetted officer which makes it a valid application eligible for PAN.

Ya that is listed as a valid proof,

but what to do if PAN application collection centre reject the same as valid proof and ask for photo identity like Election card, passport, license etc.,and Address proof like telephone bill, light bill etc.

Now a days, bank pass books are also containing Photographs of account holders. So, xerox copy of front page of bank pass book containing photo and address along with recent transactions (to ensure that a/c is in operation) can be submitted as proof for obtaining PAN Card. bye.

hi, all the readers and HOD of govt colleges, doctors in govt medical college, income tax officers and above, and other govt officials.....are gajjeted officers...........my advice...better use ur bank passbook......it usually contains your photograph.....take a xerox of first page and the last transaction page...thats more than enough......
