ANY INTEREST FROM BANK DEPOSIT IS TAXABLE, IT INCLUDES SAVINGS BANK / RECURRING DEPOSIT/ FIXED DEPOSIT
ONLY EXEMPTION IS PPF ACOUNT WHERE THE INTEREST IS EXEMPT U/S 10(11)
TAX ON INTEREST IS DEDUCTED FROM FIXED DEPOSIT ONLY.
